The Japanese government plans to stop the disposal of radioactive water into the sea from the nuclear power plant today. The day before the Government of China expressed concern over Japan's acts of radioactive waste water into the sea.
"Disposal of water with low radiation expected to be completed tomorrow," said an official from the Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) on Friday, April 8 at midnight.
Tepco is currently struggling to cope with the declared nuclear crisis worst since the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Tepco technician radiated sea water pump that was previously used to cool the nuclear fuel rods back to the sea for five days. Pumping water is radiated into the sea because there is no more water storage space.
As reported by Reuters on Saturday (09/04/2011), the technician said they still could not overcome the damage to the reactor and takes many months to stabilize the reactor and takes many years to clean up toxins that spread.
Kyodo news agency reported, the company's nuclear reactor maker Toshiba Corp. filed a plan of 10 years to deactivate four of six reactors damaged in Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant located 250 kilometers north of Tokyo.
However, the Japanese government said it was too early to make specific plans to end the nuclear crisis.
