Insurgents from outside the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, have infiltrated the rallies in the city Friday (fourth) and launched a deadly attack on the complex of the United Nations (UN).

"Some of the guerrillas, probably between seven and 15 have been infiltrated into the action, "said UN envoy, Staffan de Mistura, told reporters in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

"What have I reconstruction are the ones who really killed my colleagues are the intruders," he said.

Seven UN foreign staff - three Europeans and four guards from Nepal-have been killed in demonstrations in cities in northern Afghanistan which is usually calm on last month's burning of the Koran in the United States.

De Mistura said seven or eight people have been arrested, and some of them seem to militants from other places who took part in a mass attack on the UN.

Afghan workers - who survived the attack and "no touch" - to see "the difference between someone from around the corner in Mazar and someone who comes from outside", he said.

The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the violence, which occur when hundreds of people demonstrated on the streets of the city.
