Google Search Engine 'Hit' Yahoo

Technology - Google's Internet search market continues to dominate the United States (U.S.) during March 2011, far exceeding its competitors like Yahoo, Ask and AOL.

Google is still the king of Internet search
Yes, Internet users still rely on Google to find information online. Based on data from comScore, Google controlled 65.7 percent of queries during March. This figure increased slightly from 65.4 percent achievement in the previous month.

Meanwhile, Yahoo had to settle for just being the second most popular search engine queries despite its declining share of 0.4 percent to 15.7 percent today. Yahoo seems to be aware of Microsoft's search engine, Bing, who experienced growth of 0.3 percent to 13.9 percent during March.

As with Yahoo, share competitors like Ask and AOL also declined by 10 percent. Ask recorded 3.1 percent share of total queries, while AOL only 1.6 percent over the query. Similarly, data released by comScore as reported by the Straits Times on Thursday (14/04/2011).

Google's status as the king of Internet search has not shown signs of ending. Moreover, recently Google has been given the green light to buy a travel company ITA Software that will give Mountain View-based company had an important role in the online travel industry.
